From landing to first payslip
The visa gets you through the border. A handful of appointments in the first weeks turn it into a life in Italy. We handle the employer side of each one and tell you exactly what to bring.
- Stay contractYou and your employer (us) sign the contratto di soggiorno at the Sportello Unico per l'Immigrazione.
- Residence permitApplication through the postal kit, then fingerprints at the Questura. Keep the post office receipt: it shows the application is under way.
- Tax codeThe codice fiscale is needed for the contract, payroll, a lease and a bank account.
- Residence registrationRegistration at the municipal registry (anagrafe) at your address.
- Health serviceEnrolment with the national health service and choice of a family doctor.
- Bank accountAn Italian or EU account for your salary.
[Review: deadlines after entry and whether the receipt allows starting work, per route.]
Housing
Rental contracts are usually long term. A temporary furnished flat for the first weeks gives time to choose a neighbourhood, and the final lease supports any family reunification request.
Documents
Degree, marriage and birth certificates issued outside the EU need legalisation or apostille and a certified translation. A CIMEA comparability statement can replace the declaration of value for degrees.
Language
Offices work in Italian. We speak Italian and English and can come with you to the employer appointments.
Relocation service
Beyond the permit, we can organise the tax code, the housing search, health service registration and the bank account. Quoted per case.
