Running Italian payroll from abroad
With a sponsored employee, payroll mistakes are not only a cost: the salary paid must keep matching the salary declared for the permit. Here is what we handle and what you see.
| Area | What we do |
|---|---|
| Permit | Nulla osta, stay contract, residence permit application and renewal tracking |
| Onboarding | Contract under the right CCNL, hire notification, tax code, INPS and INAIL |
| Monthly payroll | Gross-to-net, payslips, F24, UniEmens, LUL |
| Year end | CU, annual returns, INAIL self-assessment |
| Your side | One monthly invoice in EUR or USD with the payroll summary |
Where foreign employers slip
- Salary below the declared level: a cut or an unpaid month can put the permit at risk.
- Role changes in year one: a Blue Card change of employer needs prior approval in the first 12 months.
- Forgotten accruals: 13th, 14th month and TFR not budgeted. We spread them monthly.
- Permit expiry: renewal started late.
- Late F24: penalties and interest from day one.
