I am moving to Italy. You can keep me on the team.
To work in Italy I need a work permit, and the permit needs an employer in Italy. You do not have to open one. ItalyBlueCard becomes my Italian employer and sponsor; I keep working for you full time, and you receive one monthly invoice in EUR or USD.
- Share the role and salaryItalyBlueCard checks the visa route and sends you a cost estimate within one business day.
- Sign one services agreementBetween your company and ItalyBlueCard.
- Permit and contractItalyBlueCard files the work authorisation and signs my Italian contract under the right CCNL.
- I start in ItalyYou manage my work. ItalyBlueCard runs payroll, taxes and contributions every month.
€250per employee per month, invoiced in EUR or USD at the EUR reference rate, no FX spread
€2,500per visa or Blue Card case
Actualsmy employment cost billed monthly on actuals, with 13th and 14th month spread pro rata and TFR paid monthly into my chosen fund
Depositone month's estimated cost as deposit, plus the first month in advance
Why not keep me as a contractor?
A contractor agreement does not give me a work permit, and if I work only for you, on your schedule, Italian authorities can treat it as employment, with back contributions and penalties. An Italian employment contract solves both problems.
